Insulation Prices?

I have a customer that wants to install around 1350 sq ft of R19 in their basement and 400 sq of R30 in another part of their basement. My questions is how much should a job like this go for. I figured around $2000.00, I am paying $.62sq for R30 and $.40sq for R19 and the insulation is made by certainteed. Let me know how much you guys would charge to do a job like that.

I'm assuming you are going to be picking up the materials, measuring the job out, figuring the cost.

In all you are going to have maybe 2 days in labor? Probably close to half a day in getting the materials, organizing, making the bid, preparing the invoice. How did they hear about you? SO you can account for advertising expense.

Are you doing the job alone? or do you have help?

I'd charge a little over 2k because you are going to have a little over 1k in materials.
