wondering about price??

i have to paint a bunch of doors, i have been doing business and of course estimates just wanted to know what some of you would charge.

8 bi-fold closet doors
11 paneled doors
5 french doors (6 rows of three windows on each door)

every part of each door is being painted, 2 coats, both sides

ball park price if you have the time

You need to figure out how long it takes to paint one coat/one side of the doors.

My rates (roughly):

French door $40 per coat per side = $160 per door = 5 X 160 = $800
Paneled doors (I assume 6 panel) = $20 per coat per side = $80 per door =
11 X 80 = $880

Your up to $1680 now, so I roughly came to approx. 2k for all.
And that is with no prep or materials.

Do a take-off, and determine the sq. ft. of all surfaces to be coated. Times that by your sq. ft. rate, and then divide by the home sq. ft. (floor area). That will get you a sq. ft. price for the home.

Take the square root of the left over implements from an old shaving kit, multiply that by the number of panties hanging on your old college dorm house wall.......yea.....that should pretty much adjust everything.

Depending on the PITA factor, I would say at least $1,400.

If you're getting about $792. to paint the walls & ceiling of a 12x12 room..I'd keep doing that.
