White Lightning 3006 Quick Dry, No More?

Lowe's stopped carrying the quick dry formula. The manufacturer seems to have replaced it with White Lightning Bolt? I went back to Alex quick dry after a two year break & it still sucks! Awful consistency.
Any suggestions?

Re: White Lightning 3006 Quick Dry, No More?

White Lightning gave me a list of dealers that should carry 3006 Quick Dry, but they all drew a blank. Finally, I reached another person at WL & they told me that 3006 Quick was improved & renamed "Bolt". Lowe's checked on their price with WL & it came to almost $5 a tube for a case.
I opted for PolySeal All Purpose which also can be painted in 40 minutes for $4 a tube. Twice the price of the WL I used to buy, but far better than the $2.50 Alex that I am returning tomorrow.

If there is a PPG Pittsburgh/Porter/Monarch nearby try Top Gun 250, you can spray over it IMMEDIATELY, and brush and roll over it in 30 minutes. cost is less than $2.50 per tube!

White Lightning is owned by Sherwin Williams. Any product of White Lightning can be ordered through their stores. Just ask for a special price on it.
