What Pump To Use?

Please help if you can. I do not normally do any painting but I am finishing this house and the home owner has roped me into doing it. I think that I have everything figured out except what kind of pump to buy. I found a really good deal on a piston pump sprayer but I need to spray a sand texture. Something tells me that that is probably not the right pump for the job. However, I did find a diaphragm pump. I do not really plan on painting much but would like to have this equipment just in case but I do want to have the right equipment. Any help would be great.

Thanks,
Dave
