A Website That Claims Starting Your Painting Business...

Has Never Been Easier!

This is according to the website owner. He claims to be from Michigan, United States with over 15 yrs experience in painting. This guys seems to mostly highlight the financial freedom of being a self-employed painter...he makes seems like anyone can do this!? (even outlines 'The easiest jobs to target - if you know how!')

I wonder if anyone here has tried his program with any sucess??

I tried to post the site, but i have not made 15 posts or more.....

This guys say you can make a nice comfortable living working part time in high end niche markets with little marketing instead of working full time for someone else.

what are your thoughts on this?

Any useful information for running a paint business,
that you can get for $100.00 is a bargain.
Just take what you can use out of it and hopefuly it is not a scam.
Stupidity and ignorance has cost me (and us) thousands over the years

I think I know the Michigan Painting Contractors site you referred to.

If you can obtain even ONE new and usefull idea from any source, it is definitely worth a meager $ 100.00 IMO.

You can goto a local store and they will show you how to paint for FREE! Rag on, Rag off and alll the other stuff. Your then trained in the painting field with hands on training. By Pro's,

1) You get trained for free!!!
2) You can charge BIG BUCKS!
3) Work when ever you want!!
4) Little as 10 hours a week!!!!
5) You can't do better than that..

I agree $100.00 is nothing if you have a chance to learn something and gain from it. I would reccomend PDCA if you like or feel the need to learn. Opportunities are endless if you apply yourself.

We are a member of PDCA and it is great.
Knowledge comes from different sources:

Books
Trade groups
Websites
Mentors
Business schools
The old Scottish painter I had, that messed up the French side of the paint can label, so he would still be able to read manufacturer's recommendations.
Discussion Boards like this and others
Peers (from here too)
Seminars
Did I say books?

$100.00?

Teach me something I can use, I will send you $100.00 (Canadian)
