Wagner Compact Hvlp

Has any one tried the wagner "home owner" styled hand held hvlp? I purchased one to spray some epoxy on some old laminante counter tops, (not my call, this apartment place has been doing it for years, I just followed suit.)..anyway, it worked pretty well, it has a plastic non removable needle! the turbine is right in the handle.
