Re: Trucks

Hard call. I voted Ford because that is what I'm rolling now.
But, I'm a Chevy/GMC guy at heart. Just got a deal on this current truck I couldn't pass up.

Re: Trucks

Today, realistically speaking, they are all more or less the same.

I'm kind of a history buff as my great-grandfather, Charles N. Teetor invented the piston ring and was the founder of Perfect Circle Piston Rings. Uncle Ralph invented cruise control or the speed-o-matic.

I can explain much to y'all about the automotive industry as it was. The worst blow was 'planned obselence' in the early 60's leading to garbage cars, frustrated people with gas hog, disintigrating cars during the early 70's gas shortage and the introduction of Jap cars and trucks.

Today, the big 3 are really trying to catch up. Personally, my bowtie vans are crap but no better or worse than the others.

Re: Trucks

Okay, what the hell happened to all those Toyota Tundra guys? The last time we did this there was like 25 Toyota Tundra guys, what is it, the same guy with 25 alias?

I've got a Ford, I can only buy vehicles with single syllable names.

Re: Trucks

Ram Van here.

I am seriously considering getting rid of it for a Tundra and a small covered trailer. The RAM doesn't fit in my garage in the winter. Real PITA.

I am figuring the Tundra would be nice to drive and I could back the trailer in the agrage @ night...

Going to see what happens come December...If my accountant says pull the trigger...I am firing!

A quick yahoo search confirms the info on Charles and Ralph, you have some shoes/boots to fill! I'll have to google your name to see what you have invented.

Re: Trucks

From what I see out there right now the Dodge Sprinter is the way to go. It has more headroom, it gets 25+MPG (Deisel) and its cool looking. Oh yeah did I mention its really a Mercedes in dodge clothing? If I didnt need to plow to make mroe money in the winter I would own one.
