Re: Titan Sprayers

I recently bought a 440i and love it so far. The only negative I can say is I don't like the location of the pump filter(on the underside) Kinda makes it a pain to clean it. But other than that I would highly recomend one. All things being equal I think the Titan was lighter and less expensive that the Graco, at least in this model range.

Re: Titan Sprayers

I can certainly relate to poor filter placement,my graco has one located on the side of the pump ,which you slide out...thereby covering it and all surrounding areas with paint.... WAY TO GO GRACO !would love to re locate it to a more convenient spot .

Re: Titan Sprayers

I got 2 graco's one small about the sive of a titan 440i and a large one... love them both... BUT, I have to say in all my years of spraying,a Titan is better, the 440 is industry standard..have used them to spray huge exteriors and many interiors I will own one soon... next year...

Re: Titan Sprayers

I hear from the local paint store they get more gracos in to work on than titan. We own 4 graco pumps. Have one down at the moment. Manager says graco is alot easier to get parts for and to work on.

Re: Titan Sprayers

That pulse clean thing is kinda freaky but it works. Don't have any real issues with the Titan rigs. Graco on the other hand... When they changed the filter design, they screwed it up. It now runs the bucket through the interior of the filter so you can't easily clean it anymore. I'm buying three times as many filters as I used to , easy.

The Titan guns are the best on the market IMO.

Re: Titan Sprayers

I've owned Titan Spraytech and Graco's. All were good pumps but liked the graco better. The thing seemed to run no matter what. I always preferred the Spray-tech G-10 guns, they work well, last forever and are easy to fix in a jam. I don't think you can go wrong buying an airless these days from a reputable manufacturer.

Re: Titan Sprayers

I use the Titan 440i. Graco's constantly need repairs comparitively to titans (from what I heard at SW). The titan has never done me wrong and usually there's deals for around $750-$800 for a complete setup.
