Tired Of Roller Covers Shedding Like Dogs!

I am looking for a roller cover that does not shed. I have tried many brands and I may be happy with one for a while then it seems I will get a case that is full of covers loosing thier winter coats. What do you experts recommend? Not too concerned about brand. If you order them please include a website or phone number where they can be ordered.

Thank you. Jim Bunton

I haven't found one that doesn't shed. I just stick by the tape method. If you're using latex you can do the tape method to remove most of them, and then give it a quick spin with the water hose before you use it. That will help some too...

That is what I try and do but sometimes I get rushed ( forget) I am willing to pay to skip that step. The water hose is ok on exteriors in the summer
not so convenient in the winter.

I personally like SW's contractor series...the white "soft woven one's"...I have never seen them shed, plus they are reasonably priced. (Just bought a case) I also like Purdy's white dove covers. They are nice as well.

here's a link, I would try the sw contractor one's personally, they are awesome-pick one up, you'll love it

Use them for the first coat, you pole sand anyway,
quick rinse it and it should be fine now

Just out of curiousity what type of paint do you use? Personally I use primarily BM topline with the white 15mm Nour sleeves... To tell you the truth, I can't remember the last time I had any shed issues, I think in my case its the paint...

Re: Tired Of Roller Covers Shedding Like Dogs!

I had a cold call from a company called Colorado Hide Company they asked if I would like to try their product, So for the $52.00 plus shipping I bought a case of 1 1/2 lambs wool skins. Well I have been using them for the past three years now and I think we have about 6 left. I haven't had any problems with shedding, I found their address it's Colorado Hide Inc. 22805-A Savi Ranch Parkway Yorba Linda, CA 92887 check them out.
