Time for a new sprayer.

I'm looking at new sprayers, it’s between the Titan 440i and the Graco 395
They both spec out pretty much the same although the Graco is heavier.
My cost through SW is about the same on both. Basically it’s come down to Red or Blue LOL
Comments, suggestions, pros and cons.

I've heard good things about Titans.

I'm going to be purchasing one in the next week or two. I'm looking between the 440-740 models. Sherwin said the can sell the 440 i loaded with the hose, gun, tip etc for $700. I'm thinking of getting the 740 even though I've been told the 440 is a workhorse.

440i's all the way

I own about 5 working 440's. There the best. The comparable spraytech's only last around 2-3 months in between rebuilds, and the gracco 395 is much heavier with the same or less GPM. GO TITAN

I puchased a Campbell Hausfeld PS 6521 about 2 years ago. I love it. This is a contractors unit that can only be purchase from limited dealers. Not HD. You can buy it from CH and save a bunch of money.

The Titan 440's are excellent. CH has a new rig out that is as good as the Titan. It does have a diaphragm pump that alot of the old timers may not care for, but they are much improved. They require less maintenance and run all the time which i prefer... You don't get that on & off crap going on & and you spray consistency is maintained, no matter what coating your using & that's a good thing

I got a new pump too

I just got a Spraytech EPX2555. I don't think I'll need another pump. It gets the job done...I have even used two guns off of it. That's nice!

I've used a Titan 440i for the last two years, bought it at S.W. and have had no problems at all.

Hello Gentleman and ladies

New to the list and there seems to be lots of good information on here! If, I might add my two cents ha. I have two 440’s and three 390’s there about the same when it comes down to comparison, but I would always pick the Titan over a Graco any day! But that’s just my personal opinion.

Man Ive had a 440 with the grey body for ever. It just keeps running. I wanted something bigger and I bought a 740i with the maroon body. It broke three times. So the rep. gave me new one still in the box. I pulled it out of the box and went to spray some popcorn ceilings and it wouldn't pump. I guess it wasnt meant to be. I bought a graco and have had no problems. But you never know. One guy buys a chevy and no problems .... another guy buys one and has all kinds of problems.

hey first time posting here. I've only used graco in the 8 years that i've been painting and they are easy to repack. does anyone know how hard or easy to rebuild a titian. my SW salesmen are always pushing them but our owner swears by graco. any thoughts?
