I have been in the painting biz for myself about a year now but have have been painting for 15 years. I had very little exp. in the bidding part of residential and learned some things over the past year..some good some not so much. I guess my question is what is about avg. for pricing jobs. Sq feet of painted surface or do some painters charge by sq. feet of living space? It took me along time to find a site like this and I think this will be a great tool in growing as a company and as a painter.

This thread has been beatin again and again. Do a search for bidding and pricing. I am not trying to offend but if you read some of the other threads you will find a lot of info. And if you find something in an older thread, you can bring it back to the top of the list for us all to talk about.
