Switching Oil Trim Over To Acrylics. What Are You Using?

With the new VOC laws coming, Looking for some input.

I've always used Porter Paint Glyptex Enamel. Porter is telling me that they are going to phase the product out soon.

We tried the Rustscat from Coronado direct over aged oil. Stuck like white on rice. Dried fast and covered great.

You can still buy Benny Moore Satin Impervo. after the first of the year it will read on the can that it is for metal only but it will be the same product. I dont think you will get caught painting in a residential house.

Or just sand to ensure adhesion. Prime with a bonding primer. and top coat with an acrylic paint of your choice.
