Subing out work

I have alot of work right now and I have to sub out some of the work. I have known these guys for a while and have worked with them in the past. What % of the profit should I give them or what is the best way for everyone to be happy??? Thanks

from the other side

So, I am looking at this from the other side. I am lookming at subing from my brother-in-law and need a little more detail. At 70/30, the primary gets 30% and the sub gets 70%? Is the split at the net profit after material costs? Does the primary provide materials? would 10%-15% of the gross contract with me buying materials be a good/bad deal for both sides rather than working off of the net?

Thanks!
