Stained & Poly Birch Door Maybe Need to Paint

PITA customer is thinking about painting some birch doors after giving me the ok to stain & poly.

Is it possible to Prime & paint these doors now or would they have to be stripped/sanded down?

Im thinking SW bonding primer might do the trick.

Rich

Allow the poly to fully cure (depending on what kind you used). Scuff sand and apply the bonding primer and proclassic will work great.

I agree also cure, scuff, bonding primer and the top coat of your choice.
