Spraying waterbourn clear

I have a job coming up to spray(with HVLP) some new cabinets with Valspar water based clear. I have sprayed regular latex paint but never this product. Any thing I should beware of before I start.

I have not done a lot of spraying with the WB clears, but did once with airless and once with HVLP. The first coat dries fast and can be recoated soon. Do not sand until after the second coat, this will help minimize future grain raising. It will also sand better if you let the second coat sit overnight than if you try to rush it too much. I would guess that you are looking at 4 coats with HVLP to get a nice build, but I am not familiar with that particular product.

We spray all our cabinets and wood work with airless.....HVLP is sitting on the shelf, it just puts it on to slow and the heat from the turbine can dry the material as it comes out of the gun.

I use a compressor powered HVLP, so heat is not a problem.
