Spraying Outside Corners With Spray Shield

I was just curious how everyone who uses an airless sprayer handles the outside corners near the ceiling when you are spraying using a shield.

An example would be you are spraying the wall and you come to outisde corner near the ceiling and your shield sticks out beyond the wall and you end up getting some overspray on the ceiling. Do you just touch up later?

Thanks

On all your outside corners use the brown paper and mask off a 3'x3' section (on each side) on the ceiling. Its faster and safer than touching up later.

Your touch-up may flash.

Or better yet if you cut in your tops, just paint the corner down about 12" so you don't have to spray those areas.

I'm with AA - I usually just cut down 12" to 16" in the areas like that, far quicker than trying to mask it off. I like to cut it in and spray right away into the wet edge to prevent flashing.
