Spray On Siding

The local phonebook came out today and these guys have this ad in big letters " don't ever have to paint your home again" is some spray coating crap has any one ever heard of it?

http://www.nypermacoat.com/index.html

I heard about something like this being applied to brick how much more does this stuff cost the homeowner compared to painting?

Permacoat is a national franchise I believe. Read the fine print, very specific as to what the substrate needs to be in order to get the full warranty. Google permacoat and read about some of the horror stories of their crews. Costs about the same as vinyl siding from what i can gather.

Re: Spray On Siding

Ha ha ha...the Permacoat New England guys moved west after hosing all they could in New England I guess...lol

It is a franchise, and the regional one here went belly up because of the crappy product and warranty claims

They had the apology, the "we were bamboozled", and the "we outta here" on the website, but it has since been taken down
We were able to catch some of it with the Web Wayback Machine, but I think even that's mostly gone now
