Spray Or Roll?

I'm painting a house -- not one of my normal trades -- and want to do a good job, but I also want it to go quickly. (I like to do new things from time to time, but I'd rather not paint for free.) What can I spray and what should I roll? Also, what primer/sealer is good for covering drywall texture? (I primed my garage a few years ago and the texture bubbled in spots and fell off. I had to re-texture and re-prime, and sorry to say, I don't remember what I used -- either time.) Finally, I have to paint over some Simpson ties and stainless bolts that hold up some exterior posts and beams. Any suggestions or special care for those? Thanks for the help.

Need more info
New const., furnished repaint...
Generally the prep and learning curve for spraying negates any time savings for n00bs
Unless it's new, unfurnished, and has no trim up yet

New construction. No trim up. Medium orange peel on the drywall.

Re: Spray Or Roll?

Spray all your walls, watch out for ceilings in the corners. Once trim is up, you can spray it too, but that takes practice. Make sure you sweep that place out real good before you get to spraying.
