Re: Smooth Wall Questions/frustrations
Guys, I cannot thank you enough for the help. Now that we have identified the possible causes, how do you guys propose the problem get fixed?
Is it feasible to re prime and start over? Do we switch roller types to what we know to be the best available and go over what is already done? Or do I switch to a different brand of paint and respray everything? Do we only paint in the morning when it is cooler? I truly am at a loss to all this, so do know that all of your input and advise is taken to heart. Again, I do thank all of you for the help. |

Half the time I use a merino skin and it does matter which direction if you're going to have light on it at an angle. For a flat ceiling, this shouldn't be a problem at all. He could even be dryrolling. |

Re: Smooth Wall Questions/frustrations
Hello,
I'm pretty sure I read all the posts and I haven't seen anyone mention the art of sanding the walls between coats of paint. After the primer coat, and after the first coat of finish. This helps take down brush strokes and roller marks and leaves a smooth finish. I also make sure I cut the wall in then roll. This helps hide and shrink the brush mark width (Picture Framing). If someone else has already mentioned this. Sorry for stepping on toes. |
