SH Duration

I need an expert opinion on exterior Duration. I really liked the paint and used it a lot until recently. Two problems: on new construction (Azek trim) once the bulding starts settling it's inevitable for cracks to appear. Duration is cracking a lot more than BM though. It might be only because of the Azek--it's lifitng like fish scales around the joints..any ideas?
Second problem: had something similar happen on a repaint. It could've been moisture or something else but still...it happened only 6 months later and I was very careful with the weather conditions and the prep work when painted it.
Thank you

I cant speak for the azek. As for the repaints I have no problems (knock on wood). What were the conditions like on the jobs you had problems?

Duration is one of the few things that'll actually stick to Azek
It won't stick if it's sprayed on though
And that Azek must be clean, clean, clean
Like clean it with a solvent, alcohol, or the like

The fish scales around the joints is most likely because the (butt) ends weren't painted
Those Azek ends, regardless of what any Azek marketing materials say, are moisture, mold, and mildew magnets

I've had good success with Duration and Pittsburgh's Manor Hall
Azek has tested and approved SW Super Paint also, but that stuff is too drippy for me so I haven't tried it

Azek has not tested and approved any Ben Moore so I haven't tried that either

conditions were as good as it will get around here...seriously...that particular repaint lucked out with really good weather; once or twice I had to stop cause of fog rolling in on a perfectly sunny day and nothing on the radar but that was about it. tested the trim with moisture meter too...
my only guessis that there must've been some badly damaged areas; parts of the trim had to be replaced cause of rot and i guess the other parts (where its failing now) were just neglected or the wood deterioation was really deep beneth the surface (like if the existing trim was not backprimed for example)

I read about the superpaint but haven't tried it either...the weird part is that the fish scales were between the moulding and beadboard ceiling on a porch?!As a crack appeared between it lifted in some areas scales of 1 to 2 inches...
my only guess is that since duration is very rigid for a latex paint (and azek can not be painted with oil) as the cracks appear form the natural setteling of the building the adhesions between paint and caulk (phenoseal btw) is stronger than paint to azek hence it does not crack where the joint is but lifts up from the azek...don't make much sense probably but that's all i could come up with..
