Replacement Inlet Hose For Graco Sprayer?

The suction/inlet hose on my paint sprayer is shot. No one local has one instock and they're expensive only. It looks like a section of waterhose to me. Anyone see a problem using a section of old garden hose instead?

Buy the time I order one have have it rushed to be here by monday I'd be out $35... I have an old hose on hand

You might want a stiffer hose that won't implode, like a radiator hose.

Which model sprayer? Is it a stand airless, hand held, HVLP?

If you don't know the number a picture of the unit will do.

It's a Graco Magnum Pro LTS 17 (Pro 7x).

Driftwood I like the radiator hose idea. The problem i'm having is it the current hose developed a kink and it collapses.

I think I'm going to try it. Worst case I have to go rent a sprayer and order the parts. I only do painting occasionally

Go to a hardware store, they should have 3/4" clear reinforced hose.

Garden hose repair fitting and hose clamp for the screen fitting.

Advantage to the clear is no worries about rubber contaminants.

Melted one of mine the other day. Spray shop gave me a black hose with end (like garden hose repair kit for an end). Which was like a radiator hose. Just used the same rock screen.

Like said above of hardware store had the stiff clear with reinforce thread in it. And a male hose end.

This happened to one of my sprayers years ago, a guy I know put a piece of stiff rubber and some duct ties around the kink. Kept it from kinking and held up for years after.

You may have to take your losses. The replacement part would probably be a third of the price unit, if Graco even cared to make it.
