Renewed respect for painters.

I spent the entire day, no breaks, painting soffit, fascia and drip edge. Everything was SO old, ply and rough sawn cedar, that there was no way to roll it. The fissures, knots, nails, staples, etc. were just too deep to effectively penetrate and I brushed the entire job. I can't imagine what the Statue of Liberty feels like, LOL I know that I'll be feeling this for a few days.

I just remembered why I stick to interiors.

I know that feeling all too well.....I would have sprayed something like that though. Sounds like a rental property to me.
