Rejuv-a-Roller

I never used to clean roller covers. The I got hooked on wooster wool covers at $15 a pop. I bought the Rejuv-a-Roller and have been using it. The thing really works. You just put the cover in and turn on the water let it run 3 or 4 minutes and the cover is clean. I know some of you say you can clean them faster but I do something else while they are cleaning. This is not an ad I just found something that works wel1w`l and thought I would share. Anyone else using it?

Re: Rejuv-a-Roller

After trying Rejuv-a-roller, I've changed my mind on it.

It really is a great product. Where it fails is that eventually paint is going to build up around the parts especially the main screw on part that is plastic to plastic. It becomes a pain to screw on, no good seal, and even worst sometimes almost impossible to screw off once you get it on.

Personally I like roller covers that naturally have a good release (lambskin, and the Whizz Big Dipper), I scrap, massage, spin, massage and spin and they are good as new.

The spinners really speed up the process of getting the paint out!

Re: Rejuv-a-Roller

Also another things you should know about Lambskin/wool covers, they have a naturally oil emulsion called lanolin (spelling?) that is what helps to hold and release paint.

What I've found is after using Rejuv-a-Roller is that after using it once, it seems to push out alot of that oil. The product is best used on synethics.

Hey George,

I think I have one of those things you have. If it's the same than it works a whole lot better when you pre-scrape almost all of the paint out first. I use 15 mils, and they spooge all around the rim. Works good, but in my experience found it alittle messy to deal with. You'll have to let me know how it works out for you, assuming we have the same product.
