Reasonably Priced Faux Marble Columns

Got this e-mail:
Quote:
i am looking for a reasonably priced person who does faux marble painting, to paint two exterior columns of a house. i would like you to put in a bid (columns are about 15 feet high). you must have the ability to provide your own scaffolding.

in addition, i am looking for someone to paint an interior wall with a faux suede effect using ralph lauren paints.

thanks.
I generally don't do faux, but did call the customer and found out two things
1. He didn't want me to come out and see them to bid on them
and B. He thought $150 was reasonable

I just found that amusing

If the buying and selling of people wasn't abhorrent to me, I'd pay $150.00 for you, even if you didn't do faux marble..

Didn't want you to come out and look!? hmmmm

I would have not been able to control my laughter...

I hope this jerk gets laughed at by all the contractors he calls.

He must have gotten that price from Peladu.
