Quoting off a floor Plan

Well tonight is not going smoothly for me with quoting that is for sure!
I have a floor plan that is not to scale, I know that the room is 434 sq ft, with 13 foot ceilings, how do I figure out the surface area of the walls for calculating paint?
My thought is:

434 / 12 = 36
where 12 is a guess of the wall length.
then I would have 2 walls at 12x13 and two at 13x36 giving me 1,152 square feet of area to paint. Does this sound right? does anyone know a better way?

You'll need 2 gallons for the walls, for 1 coat.

Bid for 3, but only buy 2. Get it at the nearest paint store, so it's not too big a deal if you run out.

..and if you don't run out...ya just made an extra $30.
