Question About Varnish On Cupboards
I was called in to a 6 moth old home by a builder I do work for.He asked me to fix up the last painters mess. The cupboards and stairs were sprayed with a laquer and they look horrible. The owners are not happy at all.Anyway, they want me to sand and put a coat of varnish over top of the laquer. That is fine for the cupboards but it was not recommended(paint store) for the stairs.Oh yeah, the homeowners are living in the place also so spraying is out of the question.I know there is a laquer that you can brush on but I never tried it before and they are set against laquer because of the fumes.Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Re: Question About Varnish On Cupboards
Yes ditch the varnish and the lacquer
Use stain and/or poly |
