Question About Info Notice And Lien Notice
I have been painting for around eight years now and recently started my own company. I just got a job painting a residential repaint and wanted to make sure i had the paper work figured out. When i go to get my proposal signed i know i need the Info. Notice to Customer and the Notice of Right to Lien but should i get a copy signed for myself as well? Also is that all the paper work i need to bring to the table?
Please help? These may only apply in Oregon, im not sure. Last edited by Peter B; 05-13-2006 at 11:31 AM. |

Re: Question About Info Notice And Lien Notice
A proposal is just that, if accepted you write up a contract that can be the same or more detailed. The customer and your obligations/remediations will be specified in the contract. Once the contract is signed, you go to work.

Re: Question About Info Notice And Lien Notice
Notice to customer, and notice to lein are what I would just consider a couple of clauses that in no way comes close to what you should have. Do a search here for contracts, also look in the file swap for some contracts. I'm sure others can point you to some downloadable contracts as well. You need more than just those two things to CYA.
