Pull off

Question. I was training my new "up and coming" estimator today and most of his questions i've already read on this board so I have to ask...

Do you have and or use, pull off sheets?

Take Off sheets? I used ms excel for takeoffs and a scale master plus for blueprints hooked to my pc. Also created a excel sheet for production rates for various things, down to the sq ft with markup percentages. Probably didnt answer your question but i was trying : )

Define 'pull sheets', or better yet, post one here.

Heh, pretty much figured... ok i'll show you mine if you show me yours

Pull off sheets, or take off sheets, are basically spreadsheets commonly used to figure jobs, I can send a newb with a tape measure and they can bid a job using the sheets. I'll clean mine up a little and post them here if thats ok with the mods.

Ok, after thinking about it a bit I decided that posting a worksheet like that on a public forum would not be good... home owners would grab it and have a hay day. I also decided NOT to give out the one i've been working on for five years however.. heh, I cleaned up a basic one. If anyone wants it just PM me an email and i'll shoot it to you, keep in mind it is ONLY residential repaint and *my* prices for this town. Your mileage will vary from state to city.

Pull Sheets

I am actually looking for someone who is also in the custom closet industry and has a pull sheet that I can take a look at. I have one but I feel that it is not as complete as it sould be. If anyone can get back to me as soon as possible that would be great.

Thank you.
