Proposal For Commercial Work
Greetings Everyone!
I pray that all is well with everyone on this site! I'm wondering if I could get some help here. I mostly do residential jobs out here in Toronto, Canada....but the last home that I painted....the customer who happens to be a GC..asked me to look at some plans for an office complex and submitt some numbers to him. Now I'm just wondering...do I use my usual forms that I use for my residential jobs...with some modifying... or do I have to submitt a totally different forms specifically for the commercial market? I really want to make a good impression and get my feet wet in the commercial market. Can someone shed some light on this for me? Thanks everyone! God Bless! |

Re: Proposal For Commercial Work
you should list what pages from the prints you used, and the dates on them.
cause if a page gets revised, you might end up eat some costs, unless you can prove that you didn't bid from that page(s) cause the dates are different. try to be detailed, as to what you are going to bid, you don't have to put amounts, like sq ft, or units. like Paint gyp board ceiling in " *** " according to "***x" Paint all walls according to finsh schedule or according to "***X" etc...... also make sure you know what there insurance requirements are. they should ask you for a certicate of insurance, so if you don't have the coverage that they require you don't get paid. also ask before hand about any additional insured that is needed, cause that cost you, add it to your bid. schedule of the job is important too. alot have unrealalistic schedules and by the time anything is ready to paint the job is behind, and they are ready to put in floors. cause the first thing they will say is get more man power on the job. good luck |
