So, what do you charge for business management?

If one must ask - one can not afford

Just kidding, shoot me an email & I will be glad to help out.

Michael Stone's book on Markup & Profit, would be a big help (Markup calculator - I haven't tried it but I am probably going to). I would also subscribe to Remodeling Mag (its free), they are into the number crunching side. JLC & others are great for how to's or how I did, but for the business side Remodeling has it down. Grab last years taxes - its not broken down as well as you need but it would be a great place to start, also.

I work and live in NY and if you don't charge enough you'll be out of business very soon. SO depending one what exactly is involved with this 3 room job I have to say at a minimum that 2,500 is a good start.

I need to carry more confidence and lose the fear of losing a contract when I bid jobs.

That is my New Years resolution for 2009.

You too?
