Price for staining a fiberglass door

What would you guys charge for staining and varnishing a fiberglass front door with 10 square panels in it and 2 typical sidelights? I'm pretty sure I'm not charging nearly enough but already have a signed contract and kind of have to go through with it. Mistake in pricing on my part. Just curious as to what other people might charge. Any input is greatly appreciated!

Cost of getting the proper tools to the job site, purchasing product of their choice, masking & prep products, govt & biz overhead expenses, blahblahblah

200-300 is abt all I can get around here and it's just not makin it.

A large, quality door, refinished... abt $1,200
vry few takers.
they'd sooner get a cousin or someone to slosh something at it with an old dimestore brush. I've seen it happen!

I agree with about 400, 300 if there are no sidelights.

Hmm seams how we dont really just stain a door usually there are many other things to do while you are there. But I can break it down for you ... Thank good were not in the door staining business because you really dont make much money its not a 30,000 sf building its a door.

Gel stain 1 door 1 side

1 hour to get stain
.5 to seal
.5 to varnish
Material = $40

2 hrs @ 50 = 100
Material = 40
Overhead on 140 = 56
Total Price $196.00 Is Cost

So should be 400 IMO

I would suggest not starting a door stainning company

Back to the original question Ben I would charge 500 I didnt consider sidelights and panels
