Prevailing Wage For Residential Painter
I have a Business License & carry my own insurance. What is the going rate in the Bay Area, California? I have excellent references & great work ethics. I think my fees are too low. Any feedback would be appreciated. This is for Indoor Houses and Apartments. I really just want to be competitive and not cut throat.

Re: Prevailing Wage For Residential Painter
Unless I am mistaken Prevailing wage is only for government jobs i.e. commercial, not residential.

Re: Prevailing Wage For Residential Painter
Choose a rate that pays your labor, overhead, materials and profit. This means calculating what your overhead, materials and labor cost on a per hour basis (based on a 160 hour work month) then adding a desired profit percentage - while keeping market demand in mind. It ain't easy to gauge that.
If your rate comes in too high, offer 3 bids on every project, from lowest quality to highest quality. |
