Pratt & Lambert: Red Seal Vs. Accolade
Almost always use Ben Moore but took a job where the customer wanted Pratt & Lambert eggshell. Got the paint, and found out that their mid-range Red Seal comes in eggshell but that their top-of-the-line Accolade doesn't, but that Accolade Velvet is very similar. Ended up doing the majority of the job in Red Seal and one room in Accolade.
Is it just me, or did the Red Seal go on a little runny, take forever to dry and end up looking just a little uneven? And did the one room I did in Accolade Velvet look better overall and LESS shiny compared to the Red Seal eggshell, or am I just telling myself/thinking that because it cost more? |

Re: Pratt & Lambert: Red Seal Vs. Accolade
I prefer Accolade over Red Seal any day. Accolade IMHO is a much better product.
