Porter Paints??

We just got a new Porter Paint store here in our small town. i have no experience with it but it would save a half hour trip to SW store. What do you think of their paint? Would you buy there or keep driving?

Re: Porter Paints??

The guy who built my new house used a Porter paint called Gyptex Urethane High Glosss Enamel for the interior trim. I really like the finish compared to previous houses I've owned where SW and Duron products were used. (Of course, this could be attributed to the skill of the painters as well) I think however that Porter is pretty pricey compared to the others.

Re: Porter Paints??

We have had Porter Paints for years and the pro's like them. I'm kinda stuck with BM (not bad) because I service 7 of their stores in other capacities and get my best deals there. Don't bite the hand........
