Question

Peeling Glaze

I looked at a job today where the customer had done a faux finish in the bathroom. The glazing they put on over the paint is now peeling off. They asked me how to fix it and I can't be sure. Would I sand it off, scrape it off, remove it like wall paper or replace the sheetrock?

Re: Peeling Glaze

sounds like they glazed over existing base coat but didnt clean before glazing. Or they used a glaze that required sealing and didnt. I would just sand it good, then prime. Or to be sure its locked, 1 coat Gardz.
