Does any one on here paint parking lot lines? How do you go about doing it?

I have
See the thread:

Why do you ask?
Not a good add-on for a painter IMO
None of the tools and/or skills transfer well
Different rules, codes, skills, equipment....
A different ball game all together

Re: Parking Lots

i read your other thread. I would never bid on anything that was huge I would leave it to the pros. This job is only like 20 space 1 handycap space. Does home depot sell templates?

Last year I turned done a small one like this. When were painting a building for the guy and he called someone else to paint lines. They did it with rollers and it looked great so im sure we could do it to.

No...well, not the HDs around here anyways
I'd say it's unlikely in your area too
It's pretty specialized-not many DIY Homeowners striping lots

However, I'd check the Rent-All places for templates and a sprayer

Wow, I'm shocked it looked good
That was not a pro line painter
But hey, if it looked good then more power to them

Re: Parking Lots

I started on a large lot. Worked about 30 minutes and called a guy to sub it out to. Slicks right striping is nothing like painting. I couldnt get the knack of it.
