Painting Salt Treated Wood
I've read that you can't just prime and paint this, that you have to put some sort of a sealer on it. Is this correct. Any insight will be very much appreciated.

Re: Painting Salt Treated Wood
Do you mean chromated-copper-arsenate treated?
You can still get that stuff? You can paint or seal it when it's dry ...or do you mean something else? |

Re: Painting Salt Treated Wood
I've always heard the term in reference to CCA but, as a regional term, it may apply to all PT. I hardly ever use the stuff any more so that is about all that I can offer.
