Painting Pvc Pipe With Latex Dryfall

I have limited use with dryfall jobs mainly metal beams and corrugated metal ceilings. I'm bidding a job that needs newly installed pvc piping to be painted to match current metal beams and ceiling. Will latex dryfall work or should I use a different product like bond-plex from sherwin williams. Thanks for any suggestions.

The latex dryfall will work perfectly fine for the pvc pipe.
