Painting Cement Wall
Got a cement wall (porous) going with a ben moore / california product...
Question... should I prime first? and if so ...oil? or just 2 coats latex? either will work but what would last the longest?... what should I use to fill cracks with?... cement caulking? ow ya.... wall has never been painted (sorry) should have mentioned that |

Re: Painting Cement Wall
BM can line you up with the proper sealer for your app. They've helped me out more than once on tougher jobs than yours.

Re: Painting Cement Wall
Prime it with a masonry sealer.
Benjamin Moore makes this acrylic one. Or, if you are trying to fill the pores, they makes this high-build one. Last edited by ProWallGuy; 06-23-2006 at 08:06 PM. |
