Painting A Car Wash

bidding The painting of a Car wash. The walls are concrete block that will need to be painted with an epoxy. Right now I am leaning towards a product from Ameron called Amerlock 400. has anybody else ever done this work and if you have what products did you use?

Haven't done a carwash, but I did an epoxy animal shelter and a non-profit rescue, used SW two part on both, still holding up well through multiple years and washings.

Re: Painting A Car Wash

Talk to your local SW store to make sure this system works for the carwash you are doing. I have many carwashes with this system and holds up great. Use one coat of Sw Kem Cati-Coat epoxy filler to fill all pinholes in block and follow with either Macropoxy 646 NSF or High Solids Catalyzed Epoxy to get a moisture proof system. The Macro or High Solids are also used for the inside of water tanks. That's how moisture proof they are. But this doesn't work for all projects. Have a rep look at it for you and give a recommendation.
