Painters pants
Does anybody know of a good source online to get painters pants? I have always picked mine up at SW but just looking for an alternative...

I've had the worst luck with painters pants (going through the knees or pockets within a couple of weeks) that I finally gave up on them a couple of years ago. I now wear cheap dockers style pants from walmart. They're around 10 bucks and they last MUCH longer. I just wish that they made them with a side tool pocket.

No, I haven't tried those but I did try double knee pants by ace drop cloth company a long time ago. they lasted longer than the dickies I had been wearing last but still don't compare to what I am wearing now. I used to wear Sears Toughskins. They were pricey but they were a cotton/poly blend and lasted forever. Unfortunately they don't make them anymore.

Stan Ray sold out to Pro Wear USA. Do you know who is still carrying Stan Ray? I have found them to be one of the best made painter pants out there. We also like them due to the fact, they have a tappered leg torwards the bottom.

I got a couple pair of Carhart carpenter pants double knee hammer loop utility knife pocket, but they ran me 35.00 a pair. but the bib overalls I have are 15 years old and they are still holden up. can't beat Carhart. Painters pants I get at the Benjamin Moore store they carry Stan Ray which I have my complaints. years ago I use to get Senterians these pants where great had doubled knees two side pockets double back pockets, a watch pocket, a hammer loop on side and loop on the back between the pockets. it was like haveing a tool pouch built in your pants. I don't know why they stop making them. If you guys could get pants made to your trade what would they be like? How many pockets and loops or holders sewn into the pants. What you be willing to pay for a quailty pair of pants?

Ive never seen a doctor deliver a baby, but I will guess he or she will not be wearing jeans. lol, not only whites look professional but they are made for painter tools and hide our white ceiling and trim paint that seem to be our most used colors.
