Paint Sprayers
I'm intersted in purchasing a paint sprayer and I was wondering if anybody has advice on which one is better, Titan paint sprayers or Graco paint sprayers.
Thanks. |

Re: Paint Sprayers
I have used both in mas production. I believe they both have their pros and cons but when it come down to it PRICE is what wins that how close they are. Shop around don't just think SW caries a sprayer, you never know the little paint store might be having a great sale.

Re: Paint Sprayers
It is a matter of opinion. Depending on which model you are looking at, they are both good companies with good equipment. On the smaller units, I have found that you will probably spend a little more ($100) on the Graco.
I personally prefer the Titan models because of a lower initial cost and much less expensive repairs. Both companies have good warranties and dependable machines. A good place to look is: airlessoutlet.com |

Re: Paint Sprayers
SpeeFlo is imo the best sprayer around. We own a bunch of them and can't seem to kill them

Re: Paint Sprayers
Titan and Graco both make good equipment. Ensure you look at a sprayer that will spray the heaviest medium you use. Like golf, I would choose the club, and then grab one size larger and make an easier swing.
Some used sprayers are a good value. HD for instance carries the Airlessco and sell them once the flooring time is up. An Airlessco 540 with new guts might as well be a new sprayer. If you can find one of the Lo-boy models I'd snag it. They rent less than the Hi-boys (simply based on customer perception). Just another data point to ponder. Monroe |

Re: Paint Sprayers
As a former Sherwin-Williams sales representative, I sold a ton of sprayers. My customers liked the Titans, Gracos, and Speeflows. I never really had problems with any of them. The reason that I would push my customers towards Graco, was because finding replacement parts (packing kits, etc.) was easier than the other brands. It also seemed a lot easier to get Graco to do warranty work. Also, the gracos usually had better promotions (graco bucks).
You can't really go wrong with any of them. Just make sure you buy a pump strong enough to push what you will be spraying or even one size larger. |
