Paint price

Hi all,
I am building a 2,400 sf house, and I think one of my subs might be over charging me. He is charging me 10,000... does that sound about right to you guys? Nothing special just the basic spray of MDF trim and rolled walls and of' course sprayed ceiling... Thanks

If its a custom, high-end paint job, (multiple colors, top of the line material, ultimate prep and flawless finish) its not too bad.

If its just your basic new construction run-n-gun, you're getting robbed.

I'm with PWG. If it's a top quality custom job, the numbers are probably pretty close. If it's just a blow out job it should be maybe half that....

I agree. If its just white on white Just enough prep to get by with about 6K sounds close, however you cant get a Beverly Hills job at a Hells Kitchen price

Pro,
Feel free, I have told a couple customers that, except on a local level so it didnt go over their heads i.e. You cant get a Buena Vista job at a Happy Hill Gardens price.
