Our Town 2010

Benjamin Moore is throwing a steak and seminar get together in Overland Park in a couple of days just wondering if anyone here has received the RSVP invite in the mail for their local area?
I will of course go (free food and $400 worth of selected products is a tempting offer after all) even though I am a devout SW painter.
There are a handful of BM dealers in the area that are spread out quite a distance and the central dealer is rumored to be closing down soon. Many S.W. locations are never further than a 6 block radius from any job I am working on, so for a convenience standpoint SW is the obvious choice when I forget that $6 whizz roller cover.
After all, it takes on average 30 min. round trip to visit the S.W. whereas Benny Moore would easily cut into my production times with a drive time of at least an hour!
...ugh...

Anywho just figured I would pop in and see who else is considered worthy of the B.M. RSVP, or how it goes down by those who have already been.

Re: Our Town 2010

I've told the people at BM the exact same thing, there's a SW store within shouting distance from any job I'm currently on. However, the nearest BM store is across the Ohio River in Kentucky, about a thirty minute ride one way for me. I've told them numerous times to open a store in Southern Indiana...it would do well over here.

I think if marketed correctly, BM would really hurt SW, obviously they don't have the resources to compete with SW. The few times I've used BM, it's been really good product.
