Re: Online Leads
Look up, in the blue bar. Click the search button, and search for terms like 'service magic', 'lead services', etc. There are tons of threads here about this subject. In a nutshell, the majority of users weren't happy with them, and a very small minority here have had success with them.
Only luck I've had from online is with my company website. If tuned correctly, it can generate quite a bit of leads. A painter (that frequents this site) that I worked with today says his site is getting approx. 5 leads per week from his website. His site was made and optimized for our area by Footbridge Media. They are a sponsor here. Last edited by ProWallGuy; 12-21-2006 at 07:23 PM. |

Re: Online Leads
Do you have a website?
If so, you can look into ways to get your own leads for yourself for free or little money. Internet leads can get expensive and half the time they are crap leads. If you have your own site, look into SEO tools that boost your site up in the searches on yahoo and google. Make a contact form page where online users can submit there info. We get a few leads per week from our site. And our close rate is much higher on our internet leads because the homeowner already seen our work and is interested in working with us. If you are a contractor, and don't have a website. Get one! You're missing out on a lot of work.

Re: Online Leads
I tried one of those companies that gave leads through a pay per lead system. It was a joke. I actually at one time paid for 4 leads. When I contacted the people they already had their painting projects finished. I always jump on opportunities quick and had my E-Mail set up to my Cell, so that was not a issue. I called the lead company to complain and they said it was out of their hands. I said guess what buddy, my business if out of your hands also. My opinion is to stay far away from them.
