Scrape off most of the paint with your 5 in 1. Tap cover into 5 gal. that is 1/2 full of water, cover and drive home. Put covers in washing machine, cold/cold + extra rinse. Like new!

Teetor,
You must be a happily single/divorced man like me. I know my ex would have dropped a load of crap in her panties if she caught me washing roller covers in the washing machine.

Re: Ok I Found The Name For Roller Cover Washers !!

The one I use, shown by someone above, attaches right to the kitchen sink. The cover fits in it tight. It takes maybe 15 seconds before the water runs clear. Works VERY well. I use it to clean out naps full of w/c adhesive. Take it out of the tube, and spin it in a bucket, and its ready to go. Plus, if you use hot water, it's dry in maybe a minute after the spin. Its a must when its below freezing outside. I can't use the hose in those conditions.

Re: Ok I Found The Name For Roller Cover Washers !!

Cleaning out roller covers was always something that I made the new guys do in order to learn the basics. Many times now that I am not always on the job with them, they make a mess of someones kitchen and usually do a half ass job cleaning them. I have never used one but was wondering if that would solve the mess problem. Can these fit onto anything other than a utility sink/hose bib? Say like a standard kitchen or bath sink faucet?

I bought a couple threaded adaptors, female/male, male/male, etc. to match hose to sink size.

I've had mine for about 8-10 years. No sign of any type of failure yet.
