Nova Or Titan

Thanks for all input. Trying to decide between a graco (actually NOVA), or a Titan. I only paint 3 to 8 houses year. Loved my little nova sp before it died. Just wondering what you folks thought. Thanks

Re: Nova Or Titan

Titans work well, and will put up with just about anything. Graco's need to be used and maintained to stay in top condition. On the other hand, if you don't use it that much, I'd spend as little as possible.

Re: Nova Or Titan

I think you would be more than happy with a titan 440i. It is one tough little pump!

Re: Nova Or Titan

I bought my 440i used from SW back in 03. It was a rental unit. I think I paid $500 for it. I was used too much bigger pumps. I couldnt beleive how much of a worhorse that little thing is. I also own a Speeflo Powrtwin 8900 with the gas and electric motor. 9 times out of 10 if I am going to only be running one gun I will use the 440i. It is just more portable and it does a damn good job. I have actually shot 40+ gallons through it in a day, I felt sorry for it, it was squeeling like a pig all day. Now if I have a job where that will be the case i use my Speeflo 8900. I did have to repack it once. I also make sure to put throat seal in it every time I use it. I dont know anything about the Nova, but I have had great experience with the 440i. I have sprayed SW Duration through it numerous time unthineed with no issues whatsoever.

Take Care,

LeRoy
