new sprayer

I just bought a new sprayer last night. I have two smaller spraytech pumps. The one is fine for trim and doors and the other is what i usually use on new construction homes. However, sometimes I feel I am overworking it. I also have a old gas sprayer called the boss from SW. It is a monster and very hard to lug around. I was at SW last night and they had a spraytech model 2555 on special for 1200 bucks. Everyone makes fun of spraytech but i have had great luck with them. Anyone have a 2555? Happy with it. this was a spur of the moment purchase and am trying to convince myself i needed it.

Wow they have a 2555 for $1,200. I paid more than that for my 2155. I also have a 2555 and paid more than twice that for it. The 2555 is a beast! It handles anything and everything! It doesn't have to work hard compared to the small pumps because it can put out soo much paint! I use it with two guns running 150' of hose and can spray hundreds of gallons a day with ease! I've never had a problem with it so I would say go for it! If you don't get it could I get your stores phone number so I can buy it?

I got lucky. It was only in the store for 4 hours. It was one that someone had bought and took home and was too big for what they wanted it for. So, it has had a little paint ran through it. the guys at the store said the guy that bought it only had it for about a week. It still has full warranty and all. Looks brand new. No paint on it or in it anywhere. I saw one on the internet for close to 4000 bucks. I've seen them as cheap as 2900. I though it was too good of a deal to pass up. Can you spray heavier coatings through it?
