The only contractors I have seen offer the service are ones I've never heard before of and none ever stick around very long

Is there really such a thing for homes? Rubberized paint has been around for quite a while, but in general not for homes.

There's the Rhino coating, ceramic coating (not paint) guaranteed for life. There's Duration and Duration like products guaranteed for as long as you own your home.

I like duration as a product, I don't like working it with a brush for very long. It doesn't co-operate when cutting fine lines.

Could it be like the elastomeric paint used on plastic auto body panels?

Wait a minute, I think you're confused, MACPainting
That's a new Paint-On Rubber that's big out west now
Yah they're out here now-haven't really caught on yet
Mostly a DIY project though, I don't get many calls for it
...Thank God

Is this the same stuff? http://www.newspaperads.com/pbpost/a...text=&adtype=1

This co. has been looking for 8 homes that need painting for years. Doesn't really say what it is though.

In MI I believe it goes against the contractor codes to offer a discount conditional upon using the home to show other customers.
