New Light Blue Tape
Been using the new painters tape lately. It's light blue and SW just started carrying it. I am quite impressed so far. It claims to be ideal for no bleeding, and I'm finding that to be true.
You guys use it yet?

Re: New Light Blue Tape
I have seen a light blue tape in my store (not sw) wonder if its the same? Does yours have SW brand name on it? or the actual maker of the tape?

Re: New Light Blue Tape
What is an average cost for the role? I was going to start a thread about this 3M I am using. It is smooth to the touch, but doesnt stick very well. I had a tough time with it on baseboards yesterday.

Re: New Light Blue Tape
has anyone used the fluorescent green tape from 3m? It sticks like glue to baseboards, i think they call it lacquer tape.

Re: New Light Blue Tape
I bought some called KleenEdge made by Loparex. It worked great, no creep. It's almost as good as the fineline tape that we use with auto paints.

Re: New Light Blue Tape
Not sure who makes it, I think 3M though. I masked off some light fixtures and bare wood casings and the stuff is great. Compared to the normal blue medium tack tape it's only about .20 more per roll.
Oh and the green tape is great too. I like it more than the blue medium tack. It sticks better, but not too much.
